国立交通大学文化研究国际中心将于2017年12月8、9两日举办「艺术介入与社会批判: 亚际知识对话」工作坊。本工作坊旨在探讨艺术实践作为社会批判的角色与其潜能，并企图衔接知识劳动和艺术劳动两者之关连，进而在亚际脉络下对于当代艺术的各种发想和实践方法进行对话。此次工作坊邀集了来自亚洲不同地区的当代艺术家和策展人，共同探讨以下不同面向的命题:批判教学法与艺术生产、城市权利、中国脉络下的社会现实、殖民史与地理政治方法、艺术行动主义与空间抗争。
The International Institute for Cultural Studies, National Chiao Tung University, will hold a two-day workshop: “Artistic Intervention and Social Critique: A Dialogue in the Inter-Asian Context” on December 8th and 9th, 2017. The objective of this workshop is to explore the immense potentialities of artistic practices in relation to their function of social intervention and social critique, to bridge intellectual labors and artistic labor, and to exchange ideas and practices of contemporary artistic works in the inter-Asian context. We have invited artists and curators across different regions of Asia to share with us the following themes: Critical Pedagogy and Artistic Production, Right to the City, Social Reality in China Context, Colonial History and Geopolitical Method, Art Activism & Spatial Resistance.
