Leslie Hao-shan Lee enrolled International Master’s Program in Inter-Asia Cultural Studies, University System of Taiwan (IACS-UST), NCTU in 2013. He completed thesis oral exam entitled” Chinese Malaysian Diaspora and Queer Politics: On the Mandarin Popular Music in Tsai Ming-liang’s Films” on 29th, July, 2016 under supervision of Prof. Joyce C.H. Liu, and committee membe Prof. Jonathan Yeh, and Prof. Sing Song-yong.
